Hi! So i've been trying to decide between these two laptops for a while now, and would really appreciate any input
Sager NP8130:
- 15.6" FHD (1920x1080) Matte Display
- Intel® Core™ i7-2630QM, 2.0-2.8GHz, (32nm, 6MB L3 cache)
- nVIDIA 460M 1.5 GHZ GDDR 5, DX 11
- 8GB DDR 3 Memory

HP dv6quad:
1920x1080 display
Intel Core i7-2630QM
2GB GDDR5 Radeon(TM) HD 6770M
8GB DDR3 System Memory

There are a few differences between the two. The sager supposedly has a terrible battery life, but better build quality, and costs ~200$ more.
I guess my question boils down to this: the 460 GTX benchmarks around 25% better than the 6770. Is the increase in speed worthwhile? Would it have a noticeable impact down the road? (2-3years from now)
Thanks a lot!!

Hello and welcome to the forums
I don't know where you've seen the benchmarks but GTX 460M is much faster(more than 25%) than 6770M; therefore, the Sager model is definitely worth it especially of you're going to play games

Ah, thanks! My only problem with the Sager is that it has a rather terrible battery life. Do you think that the 6770M would hold up decently well for playing games, or would it struggle 2-3 years down the road?
