Can't view downloaded vios

Hello,
when i downloaded videos from my kodak easy share digital m530 camera they showed up in my picture file as a picture of a strip of film with a musical symbal . when i click this picture then open the file, all i hear is the video sond, but get no picture of the video. please help in layman's terms. TY
