So lately my hard drive has gone horribly wrong and is clicking an awful lot, I assume it's on it's way out (after 3 days) :(

I was wondering if it would be possible to re-install my Windows 7 OEM SP1 on another drive once it arrives, as I've heard that it is tied to the MOBO? cheers all!

hope this is in the right section. :)

Yes, you can re-install your OEM version for a disk failure. Just use you key to re-activate online after the new install. If you have any issues, just call Microsoft at (888) 571-2048 and it will activate with a few questions, although that is rarely required.
