Should I upgrade to Windows 7 Home Premium?

I have a eMachines computer with Windows XP Home Edition. (eMachines EL1200-01E)

Here are the specs:

CPU: AMD Athlon 64 2650e / 1.6 GHz
Chipset Type: NVIDIA GeForce 6150 SE
RAM: 1.0 GB DDR2 SDRAM DIMM 240-pin
Hard Drive: 160 GB Serial ATA-300 7200 RPM
Card Reader: 15 in 1 Card Reader

Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition

Is this good enough to upgrade to Windows 7?

Stick with XP it will run smoother than 7 with those specs.
