Toshiba shutting down fan

Please help me out,my Toshiba laptop always go blank after making use of it for some minutes and i have to off the power and on it again for it to restart.

if you're having overheating problems, check that all the heatsinks are clean and dust free. make sure the fans are in the working condition, if fan doesn't work, replace it.

if neither of those help, i'd recommend getting a cooling pad for a laptop
