Guys,
I installed the Linux Mandrake 9 and I can't configure my offboard sound card (AWE64) and the onboard sound is disable in the BIOS. Incredible, the Linux recognized the disable onboard sound and I can't change the sound card to the AWE64. It doesn't accept the command "sndconfig".

Anyone can help me?

I'm not sure about configuring Mandrake 9, but at the shell, try `alsaconf` as root - i think that's right...
