Hi all, can anyone recommend some good websites that sell computer parts? There are so many out there its hard to determine which are reliable. Also, they have to ship internationally, so all the Aussie's on this board let me know who you use!

Cheers All.

PS. The sites don't just have to specialise in processors, all computer parts will do.

These guys will ship internationally. They aren't the cheapest but they are very reliable. I've used this company many times over the last 3 years and haven't had a problem with them yet.

Well if you're in Melbourne the best place to shop IMO is the Computer Swap Meet. It’s really a collection of wholesalers rather than an actual swap meet. They're dodgy, they have no service of any kind, and you'll get little in the way of warranties (and you have to ask), but they have by far the cheapest new parts in Melbourne.
If you're not in Melbourne, I can't help you.

YOu could try Insight.com, another good one for the UK is dabs.com, they may do international shipping but I'm not sure, they do have a vast range of stock from motherboards to LCD's and processors.

I typically use MultiWave, but I don't think they ship internationaly. I also order from Axion Technologies every once in a while and they do ship internationally. Neither one of these companies has ever given me any problems.

they deal with more exotic things and cooling.
most importantly, they stock the MCX-370 by swiftech, and even its bigger brother, the mammoth 462A.
rounded ide cables are nice too, and i can also personally reccomend their thermaltake 80mm casefans

Ok here's my favs - (actually some are hopeless but I check them for availibility of things sometimes).
they are all in Melb., I know of one good place in Perth that'll ship across Aussieland but can't think of there name

so here ya go->
www.scorptec.com.au good range and prices
www.cws.net.au reasonable range (not many MBs) very good prices usually
www.ddcc.com.au great prices, most common things sold
www.pc123.com.au crusty prices, good/bad range (I check these guys just to see if ANYONE's got a Duron 1.1GHz yet.. for exmaple)
www.istore.com.au all round OK (stores in Melb. Sydney and Brisbane)

enjoy those.. should find whatever you want at good prices if you look across the board.

That's good to know, but if I can find one at the market, I'll get it there.

should point out that auspcmarket is mroe than it's website suggests.
The old updated site is simply not maintained - it does not reflect their current line of products (highest CPU was a AMD K6-3 I think). had a few 14" monitors aswell.

so press on with them.. try their phone no. pooh bear, what's their number??

faa kaputza.
