See this method for using the XP64 driver in 64bit Win7:

This method definitely works - I know, because I've just tried it. However, the XP64 driver doesn't have all the features of the 32 bit driver, so use the 2430DL Win7/Win8 x64 driver instead, which can be downloaded from here:

http://www.konicaminolta.co.uk/business-solutions/support/download-center.html

This driver is the full-featured one which we are all used to, and works for the 2300DL as well - but for some reason KM have chosen to keep quiet about it, except for a little text file which you can also find on the site which indicates that the driver covers a range of printers, including the older models.

Minolta may be useless when it comes to support for it, but the 2300DL is still a superb printer. Mine is nearly ten years old, has never had a problem, and still works perfectly. The cartridges are stupidly expensive, and show as "empty" when they are actually still 1/3 full, but the unused toner is easily transferred to another partly used cartridge to make a full one, which brings down the cost dramatically. The drum is also easily fixed when the printer declares it to be dead (as mine did a couple of weeks ago), and I expect to be using the printer for a few more years to come.

I hope this helps the many irritated 2300DL owners still out there!
