1080 Resolution Laptops (15.6”) are not cheap and very few are out there. Reason is not a hug demand and generally only come in high end versions. More are available @ the 17+” size, But again not cheap.

You need to go to a “brick and mortar” to verify you want this resolution in a 15.6” LCD. Primary reason for this resolution is for Blu-ray playback. Everything else is going to be tiny on Screens under 18”, unless you enlarge and that defeats the purpose. (Toshiba Has an 18 In LCD – Did I say BIG and heavy.

Not a lover of Dell Consumer Laptops – Business models are very reliable. A year ago Asus was #1 for reliability - Tosibia as 2nd.
