i got a rig:
PIII-733
256MB-kingston(133@3/100@2)
128MB-Acer(133@3/100@2)
MSI-6337V2.0-815EP
Terratec512i-PCI sound card
GLADIAC 920-OEM
60GXP-40gig X2

i was trying to OC it with FSB, highest i got was 144Mhz
CPU@803/BUS@144/PCI@44/AGP@75

i tried to set memory bus to 100 and setting mem to CAS2, then OCing the bus as close as posible to 133 Mhz.
if im going to do that i will have to remove the 128MB module coz it doesnt boot with those settings, that would leave me with 256MB@cas2
is it wort it?

P-III multipliers are locked! a 144 MHz FSB would get you just 144x5.5 = 792 MHz or processor speed, how did you get 803?

if your mem isnt running at higher FSB with CAS2, its stressed a bit. try the same with CAS3.

if its the only 256 MB stick working at that speed then its worth it. worth more than a non-functional system. i suggest you try a lower PCI/AGP divider with higher FSBs, PCI and AGP are getting quite high clocked. try to keep PCI to lower than 40 MHz.

again, FSB of 144 will get you a PCI speed of 144/4 = 36 MHz. recheck the figures, I think they are messed up somewhere.

then its 146x5.5, thats not the point, my system is working with both sticks uder 146@cas3(ill check the actual FSB later).
my real dilema is sould i work with only 256@cas2 and how much FSB i can push it, or keep working with 384MB@cas3?
