i was bored so i decided id go OC the P3-733,
-FSB-150Mhz -CPU-825Mhz -CoreV-1.70V
i downloaded MBM 5.1 to see how did it go,
sensor 1-127c(!!) 2-0c 3-0c
this seemed odd to me so i ran Sisoft sandra 001,
the CPU temp was 41c system -again was 127c
the case is open so i just checked with my hand if something is warm, cpu was normal graphic card was a bit warm(not more then usual), seems like an error..
i restart, while the CMOS screen showing 80c for processor and 40c for system.
windows boots and same 127c?!

i changed all settings back to normal, after 30 minuts still 127c?!

if any one can explain this to me please do, coz i give up.

I had the same trouble with an abit board. If i overclocked the temp sensor went wacky. Might be your problem.I wouldnt worry as long as it is running without errors. I've never seen nor heard of a p3 dieing from thermal overload.so i think your safe.
If your wanting a correct reading id try a digidoc.

If you ever stop learning then your dead!!
