I'm running XP Home (SP1) and I'm looking for the best PC Backup Software. I've looked at Backup Plus, Backup MY PC, Handy Backup, Nova Backup, Backtrack, and a few others. They all have some problem or another. One requires me to boot with a password in order to schedule anything, another has no means of restoration except to manually copy files back into place, another has a horrible user interface, etc, etc. They each have good features too. One will actually keep track of file versions, another will back up Outlook files and settings, yet another automates everything.

Is there anything out there that just does everything and doesn't look like a Kluge?

Note: I'm backing up from HDD to HDD and from another PC through the network to HDD.

Please let me know what you guys have used and recommend.

Thanks,
Roger Westbrook

I use Norton Ghost. It makes a "mirror" image of your hard drive, to another hard drive or a cd. There are others out there too, but that's what I use. Works for me.
