Hey everyone,

Quick question, I have been reading about the thermal paste/compound on the Athlon XP and was wondering if I should upgrade to Acrilic Silver II... I will not be doing any type of overclocking.. I will be using a Antec 1030 case with 3 case fans (2 in the back 1 in the front) and an Enermax 330W PS with 2 fans.. not including a slot fan below my video card to pull the air of my GeForce3 card..

Any feedback would be apprciated.
Jeff

It can't hurt, but I only saw a 2-3 degree drop in cpu temps when using it. If your cpu is about 50 celcius and your system is stable, I would leave it alone, and also your hardware monitor may not be accurate. Some are off by as much as 10 degrees.
