I've heard good things about the EPOX EP-8KHA+ mobo. Is this a good mobo for my system?
System Spec:
AMD AthlonXP 1600+
GainwardGeForce 3
512 Crucial DDR RAM
IBM Desktar 60GXP 40 gig hd
Audigy GAMER sound card.

Thanks for any help.

I would think so. I've always had good luck with EPoX motherboards. Right now the 8KHA+ is regarded as the fastest and least problematic KT266A board.

I have the Shuttle AK-31 rev. 3.1, which is also a KT266A board. It's just about as fast as the EPoX board. The differences are that it has four DIMM slots instead of three, and it costs a lot less. It doesn't have onboard RAID, if you're looking for that. But it does have good overclocking options. There's a review at amdmb.com, if you're interested. They gave it a 9/10 and an editor's choice.
