Trust relationship between windows 7 workstation and primary domain failed fix

We have thousands of users on our domain and we are migrating to 64-bit Windows 7. Many of our computers randomly get the "trust relationship between the workstation and domain has been broken.

We are using MS Server 2003. There is a hotfix for this issue at MS but it only applies to serer 2008. Our users do not have authority to change to workgroup, delete from AD and rejoin the domain. This presents a nightmare.

I am sure we are not the only ones having this large scale problem,

Hwlp Anone Please?

More about trust relationship windows workstation primary domain failed
  1. Not an expert, but Vista had this issue and ...

1.) SBS 2003 places the computer certificate into 'Remote Desktops - Certificates' which is not valid under vista

2.) Copy the certificate to 'Trusted Root Certification Authorities - Certificates' and rebooted.

    SBS 2003 KB943485, KB941644 updates.
