Hello every one. I am getting frequent blue screens on my computer. I am running windows 7 64bit and have included my DXDIAG and a dmp report by the program WhoCrashed. I cannot think of anything I am doing that happens in common when the computer crashes. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks!

Hello and welcome to Tom's Hardware Forums.

Go into Control Panel>Windows Update or to Device Manager and update all the drivers. You might fix the one that causes this or the IRQL problem may not be driver related at all.

Also, take a look in Control Panel>Administrative Tools>Event Viewer and open the System logs. Look for red marks after the last forced restart.

Hello Saga Lout. Thanks for the help so far. Using windows update and intel's driver utility, I am showing that all of my drivers are up to date.

I did find some Errors in my system logs that are worthy to note.

The most recent is this one:

[ The computer has rebooted from a bugcheck. The bugcheck was: 0x0000001a (0x0000000000041201, 0xfffff68000096300, 0xa25000007fda2847, 0xfffffa800a2304f0). A dump was saved in: C:\Windows\MEMORY.DMP. Report Id: 092812-19203-01.

I am seeing very close similarities for the system events logged for previous crashes as well. The logs for those are almost completely identical to the ones I've listed here, except the event times and EventData logs. Here is what I have for the EventData log two BSOD's ago.

[ EventData

BugcheckParameter2 0x0
BugcheckParameter3 0x0
BugcheckParameter4 0x0

Besides the EventData, the logs for all crashes appear to be identical to the ones posted first.

Does anybody have any ideas?

Sorry - I must have missed your earlier reply.

From what I found in tis KB, it doesn't seem Microsoft have much of a clue either but it might be worth clicking on he first and third links in the scenarios section.

corrupted memory? RAM?
October 9, 2012 12:23:40 AM

Thanks for the help. I think I've gathered that it may be my memory sticks causing the problems. I will test some others in my machine and see if I keep getting the hard hangs. Thanks every one.

In that case, take one stick out and see if the lag persists then replace it and test the other if it does.

After that, give technoholic the Best Answer to your thread. :D
