okay, my computer's speakers were literally just working fine. My 36 lb cat gets on top of my keyboard and all of a sudden everything goes haywire. Now my volume is showing that it's all the way up, and I even went under control panel and pushed mute then unmute and still nothing. I have restarted the computer at least 4x and it hasn't done any good.. Is there anyway I can fix there? Is there possibly buttons that I am supposed to push that she might have? Agh, please help

Check If your keyboard has a Volume UP button.

There is a possibility that it might have got stuck.

Right click on the volume icon in the task bar and goto playback devices. Do you see the bars moving next to the speaker entry? Speakers needs to be set as the default device!
