Explorer Problems

Every time explorer or internet explorer is opend the application crashes reporting a critical error and the application closes itself. I was wondering how to reinstall or repair explorer, or if i would need to reinstall XP. I am not sure what the exact error says b/c it is on a friends computer, but if i find out i will post it. Thanks for any help.

I'd check the RAM and/or PS

You can try sfc.exe. It comes with Windows, and it compares the system files with the original ones, and tells you which ones are different and asks you if you want to restore the original ones. (you have to run it throught the dos prompt)
