Recover C drive before formatting
Last response: in Windows 7
i have only C drive in my laptop and i dont know how my laptop messed and i am unable to turn that on ?(accidentally i turned it off while it was updating), i have re install windows in my laptop. so is there any way out that i can recover data from my C drive. please help ![:(]( ":(")

You may be able to use a bootable linux cd(ubuntu) in live mode to look at the drive and see if the files are still in tact if they are, you should be able to move what you want to a flash drive.
If you have access to another computer, removal of the old drive makes it FAR more easy to get your files off and onto the system you are using.
What is the error you get when booting. Rare to have a power out mess it up that bad.
