Hard drive from a 64-bit OS PC readable on a 32-bit PC

Hello, I have a PC with a smoked motherboard and salvaged the hard drive beffore pitching the PC in the dumpster. The data on the HD was written by a windows 7 64-bit OS. If I install that hard drive in a PC with a 32-bit Windows 7 OS, will it read the data?

Yes. Hard drive formatting and partitions have no differences between 32 or 64 bit versions of Windows.

Thanks, as you can tell, I know just enough about PC's to get me in trouble. I'm thinking of buying an off-lease HP DC5800 w/Intel core 2 Duo 2,33 Ghz Processor and Win 7, and installing the HD into it. It's $159 and warrantied for 1 year. Is this doable for a relative novice such as me?
