MSE Keeps returning

Last response: in Windows 7
Share

New build, Windows 7 Home Premium. I installed Microsoft Security Essentials (MSE). Then decided I didn't want it so I did a uninstall from add programs. Kept getting an error referencing it then a Kernal 41 crash. Found and deleted the folder it was in Program data .... computer ran fine for 16 hours then a crash. At 5:35 he same MSE error, 5:35:02 crash. The folder was back??. Since this error seems to be triggering the crash how could it have reinstalled and how do I prevent it?

Thanks
Richard Wallace

you could try uninstalling using 3rd party software instead of add/remove programs

something like the free trial of revo uninstaller or similar software

Tried REVO doesn't see it, Tried Microsoft fixit widget, it doesn't see it either, every reboot the folder keeps getting created with the file.

i know--i meant maybe windows is putting it back because system restore is turned on

it must be getting a back up of the file from somewhere

I gave up, clean installed no MSE files. Yeah and boo. Restore was off
