Windows 7 starting problems

Hello, My computer was unable to start and says startup repair will fix. It takes longer duration. Please help

Boot your computer from the Windows 7 "System repair disc" which you should have made when your computer was running okay.

If you didn't make one, ask a friend if he/she can make one for you on their PC. It doesn't matter which Edition Win7 they've got, but it must be either 32-bit or 64-bit to match whichever one yours is.
