my wireless connection status says my computer is
connected and packets sent is rising, but received stays
at 0. ping times out and I cannot access any sites. I
have no actual connection. can anyone help me? I have
troubleshooed every possible angle.

Hi,

Are you able to ping a IP address? Rather than a domain name?

Can you ping the router?

Check your DNS settings on your network adapter and try putting in the one
given by your Internet Service Provider.

What model of base unit router do you have? Can you get to the internet if
you connect directly to the cable/dsl modem?
