Network Adapter Driver issue after installing Windows 7 Ultimate

I have a Toshiba Laptop A665-S5173. I installed Windows 7 Ultimate. Now I can't connect to the internet and get a message saying "Windows did not detect a properly installed network adapter. If you have a network adapter, you will need to re-install the driver."
Toshiba support wants to charge $100.00 to help me fix the problem.

I have researched he problem but have not found a solution.
I have a pc that an acess the internet.

Navigate to your laptop make and model, and download network driver, then restart your computer

I narrowed the search by selecting Windows 7(64 bit) and WAN, http://www.csd.toshiba.com/cgi-bin/tais/support/jsp/modelContent.jsp?ct=DL&os=&category=&moid=2861126&rpn=PSAW0U&modelFilter=A665-S5173&selCategory=2756709&selFamily=1073768663

I downloaded both options listed to my pc then saved them to my Flash drive to use in my Laptop. I am not even sure if these are what I need.

Installed and restarted Laptop, still no connection and same message appears. Troubleshooting says "windows could not find a driver for your network adapter."

yes, I installed and did a restart.

download the realtek lan driver not the wireless one on the link .
