I am about to purchase a lot of new components for my system. I currently have a Celeron 633 MHz, Generic Mobo, 320 MB SDRam, and a 300W Generic PSU. I want to buy a 1.3 GHz Athlon (266 FSB). First, will I need a new power supply? Second, should I buy DDRRam, or will my 320 MB of SDRam be sufficient? Please help me! Thanks!

Your power supply may be adequate if you don't overclock. You will just have to try it and see. You may want to get the ECS K7S5a motherboard ($57 newegg), since it uses either sdram or ddram. You won't notice that much difference in performance by using sdram instead of ddram. Your 320 megs of sdram is adequate.
I would suggest skipping the 1.3 and going straight to an XP and a motherboard with DDR support. The price will be the same or sligtly more expensive, but its worth it. The PSU "should" be sufficient, but if you want a really good power supply, Enermax makes the best on the market. Here is a link to a PSU review from one of our own here in THG. If you are looking to save money then you could get a board that supports SDRAM, but then you will be missing out on quite a bit. You wont have the upgradability that you get if you get a DDR mobo with XP support. To give you an example, my brother just ordered a MSI K7T266 Pro, XP1600 and 256MB Micron PC2100 CL2.5 and it was about $320.

OK, Thanks for the DAMN QUICK replies. I'm going for affordability, so I think I'm going to go with the 1.3 Athlon w/ a mobo that does SD and DDR RAM. I asked about the PSU because I didn't know if the Athlon required "special psu connectors" like the P4????
Edit: Also, if I get a mobo w/ 2 SD DIMMS, and 2 DDR DIMMS, and I use one stick of 256 MB DDR RAM, do I have to have one of those filler things for the empty DDR DIMM?
