C compiler

Hello,
I have been searching for any C compiler that is compatible with windows 7 Home Basic. I have tried dosbox but it runs in a small window.

Are you a university student? Some universities offer free Microsoft software to their students - visual studio will work for you.

As dish_moose said, if you are on campus, see if you can get a MSDAA login and get Visual Studio. If you don't want that, CodeBlocks is free.
