Athlon XP dual capable?

I've heard a rumor that you can configure an Athlon XP proc to run dually. I was wondering if anyone had any information on this? Thanks for your time.

Have not heard that; but that is what MP is for.

Yes, the first batch of Athlon XP processors can run in SMP mode but I believe later versions can't

AMD technology + Intel technology = Intel/AMD Pentathlon IV; the <b>ULTIMATE</b> PC processor

Thanks for the info. I'm in the process of ordering my new system and the XP's are cheaper than the MP's. That is why I was interested in the XP dual capability. Since it seems there isn't a definitive way of acquiring one with SMP ability, I'll stick with the MP.
