I had just formatted my 12gig hardrive on laptop, and had just copied over the files to install Win 2K. When the computer reset, a red box came up with the following information;

Save to disk partition is to small
Save to disk feature is disabled
Run phdisk for information. File:create new.
Partition: consult manual.
Hit any Key to exit.

Windows works and loads fine but does anyone here idea on what this is all about, and how to solve it? It needs to be solved because I intend to sell the laptop.

Thanks for any help

it sounds like a proprietary feature of that particular laptop (you didn't say what model). Maybe something to do with rapid resume (what IBM used to call suspend mode).
