When you say deleted vista are you going to reinstall a new copy or upgrade to win7? You don't just delete an os you reformat then do a fresh install. Good luck.

I have Vista installed on C: and D: both right now, so I thought the D: could just be deleted , I already did the fresh install on C:, it won't let me do anything now include boot it up, says BOOTMGR missing. I did that Neosmart's boot up disk, also. It worked the first time I put it in, and now back to BOOTMGR missing press Ctrl+Alt+Del, which ever way I need to do this can you please explain, I'm fairly new to this?

Did you want to boot from your Vista DVD and do a repair?

I don't have a Vista DVD, I have Neosmart's version an .iso file, but yes I need to format or get Vista off of the D:?
