Default download actions in IE8&Win7

User at work pull excel spreadsheets fron incent website, on the website there is a view button, when the button is clicked you get the normal open/save prompt, from where he selected the default action to be open but now he wants the prompt back. I have a feeling that the answer should be so obvious that i keep over looking it. can anyone please help.

I have reset IE setting & changed download setting in all zones. none of these worked

try right clicking and select Export to MS Excell
