Hi!
i need a new minitor and i dont know which one is better for games, movies and of course for my eyes. i know that LCD monitors cost more than CRT. so which one would you recommend?

good question. well if you want safe go with lcd as they don't give of rays, but if you want less expensive and high performance go with crt. remember if you are going to spend lots of money go with a rpojector for about $2500. a 300 inch screen sounds gooood and no need to turn the lights off.

LCD monitors are still not as good for games with lots of motion such as fps games. You get a bit of that haze effect

Yep, those LCD minitors will kick up a lot of dust in Q3A !

What is a fps game?Never heard of such.

He only means "frames per second"
The more you can get the better your picture will be.
A strong cpu/vid card will give you good FPS.

I've got a Sharp 16" LCD and it works very well, plus there is no noticeable ghosting on the screen. Just make sure you get one with a pixel response time < 45 ms.

FPS = First Person Shooter, like Quake 3, Soldier of Fortune, etc.
