Got my Kingmax PC2700 DDR RAM in today. This is the Reference DDR333 vs the P4T w/ RDR.

<A HREF="http://gamershq.madonion.com/compare2k1.shtml?1990471" target="_new">RDR</A>
<A HREF="http://gamershq.madonion.com/compare2k1.shtml?2135781" target="_new">DDR333</A>

Both are straight runs, no saved test, no LODbias adjusts.

Both are at fastest setting, both video cards are overclocked GF3 golden samples @ 260/545.

The DDR333 so far has been a pain to overclock. this 2.0Ghz Wilmette can hit 2.5Ghz on the TH7-II. Only hitting 2175Mhz on the SIS645 chipset.

So far I am disappointed in the SIS645 w/DDR333.

Im gone for 2 days to NYC (cant wait to hit carnagy sp? deli for world famous corn beef sandwith). Im sure you guys will miss me, and no I will not fed x you back a sandwith (call and get your own!)

I asked for permission to post the I845D scores, this is a unreleased chipset. This board is more in line with I850 (in scores in the 8000's).

patience.
give the chipset time to mature.
and the ram too for that matter. that PC2700 is cas 2.5 i suspect.

in any case, one wonders how this will effect intels own 845 DDR chipset. suppose it will be religated to the budget line... much like it is now with sdram.

Excuse me for a moment. I need to drive my ergonomic wheely chair over a sheet of bubble wrap!

It would be more fair is we could compare a dual channel DDR chipset with i850.. like the nForce but for p4..

guess we'll have to wait for that.. then maybe we will get rid of RAMBUS
