they just dont stop!
barely a month after releasing the upgraded 80mm square monster called the MCX-462, they have upgraded the 60mm square baby brother, the mcx370.

the new mcxc370 has a copper base. that should greatly improve thermal transfer.
so now if u can't fit (or afford) the mcx462 u can go for the smaller one. just love the clip design

one wonders what the hell can they do next???

Most definitely! First time I saw it, I wanted to get it. Hopefully when money runs smoother, I'd get it. Great stuff!

Problem solved. Please check out <A HREF="http://www.geocities.com/btvillarin/" target="_new">My Website</A>.

those basterds! you know, i ordered mine right when they switched clips. i talked to the place i got it from and they asured me the new clips were on theirs, sure enough it was the old clips, gggrrrr! anyhoo, anyone know how tall those 60-80 fan adapters are? was thinking of getting one and a nice QUIET fan for it, but when an 80mm fan and that adapter, sheesh that looks like it'll eat up alot of real-estate

the mcx462 is a monster. I got one when it first came out and i was getting 38 on my asus probe, i've seen my motherboard temp go that high. Now that i brought my computer back to school where the room temperature stays at a lovely 86 degrees my cpu temp is most commonly 45-50 whereas with the retail heatsink it was about 54-60. Not sure if this is normal, maybe it's just the inferno that i live in, but anyway, the heatsink is awsome as long as it's not hot outside, and if you're really crazy you'll add the Card cooler XT from the card coolers: two 120 mm sunon fans that cover your entire motherboard and produce 138 cfm of air at 38 db, talk about a geforce cooler.

yep... i got the mcx462 as well...

it gives me cooler temps despite an additional 100mhz overclock and 0.08 extra volts applied.

extreemly nice... and a very good mounting method.
