Palm Network Access over BT bypasses host PC's VPN middlew..

I am having trouble getting full Palm network access through BlueTooth
working because it is apparently bypassing my host-side (Windows) VPN
client. When I am on the Internet on my W2K laptop at home, the BT access
works just fine. When I am at work where I must use Nortel's Contivity VPN,
nothing goes through. I know there are a few VP N apps for the Palm but it
seems to me like the BT should be just like every other host-side app in
that it should "pass through" Contivity just like everything else. Is there
a way to make this so?
