Adequate CPU, generous amount of RAM, slow HDD but lots of room.
Reasonable graphics card for light duty, casual gaming with that Radeon HD 6550M.

Are there many games you want to play that run on Linux? Most of the popular games run on Windows OS.

Well, it have Linux now, but i will install Win 7. I just bought it. By your experience, is emachines solid notebook? Doest it have maybe problem with cooling or something like that?

emachines has a reputation of being a 'budget brand' - like Compaq is to HP.
I could not find any review on that model for comparison. At best you can expect an emachine to be 'average'.

Any laptop, any brand can have problems or fail.
Most laptops work without problems.
