Slim Computer

Is it possible to connect a cable between the CPU and the cpu slot?
I am thinking of building a very slim computer and therefore the graphicscard, memory and processor has to be in a "flat" position on the mobo.

Unfortunatly no, the pin lengths are critical for the timing of the cpu, any longer or shorter and the operation could be compromised, not to mention emi and capatiance, sorry to spoil the dream.
