Help...I get the following upon boot in Win 95:
A Fatal exception OD has occurred at 0028:C008CC88 IN VXD FWDRV(01) +00015BDO
The cuurrent application will be terminated :
*Press any key to terminate the current application (DOESN'T WORK)
*Press CTRL + ALT + DEL again to restart your computer.(DONESN'T WORK)
I can't get away from that screen....computer is just hung up there. I have to shut the system down and upon swithing the laptop on.. above problem happens again. I have tried to press F8 & F10 after startup without any luck to try and get into safemode. This problem occurred after I tried to install a new piece of software..a firewall.
Please help!!!

maybe boot off a boot floppy, and rename the file fwdrv.vxd? It sounds pretty messed up if you can't get into safe mode (are you sure you're hitting F8 early enough?) so good luck.

Grrr, it corrupted your registry. Best bet is to save files in DOS mode to a different drive, and reload.

(Question meant for original poster, not Crash):

one other piece of info - apparently fwdrv.vxd is part of the product "Tiny Personal Firewall" - did you install that recently?
