White page on desk top

Hello,
I have the lower right side of my desk top covered with a blank white page. It is about half way down to the right of bottom of the desktop. How can I remove it?

Try different monitor. Or (if you have a laptop) - connect external monitor.

Make sure your PC does not run any type of software supplied by the hardware developer. I was working on a Sony Vaio and the sony messenger service crashed and caused this isssue. Once I killed the process the PC worked faster and the white box was gone.
