I am using PocketBible and it does not seem as responsive as my old Palm
VIIx's glass screen when I try to scroll up and down between verses. In
order to do so I move the stylus in the grafti area up or down. I
usually can move up and down between verses, but sometimes I cannot.
With my old VIIx's I almost always could move up and down between
verses. Is this a symptom of a plastic screen?

Personally I think it was a huge mistake on the part of Palm to ship
units with plastic screens. The glass screens seemed more responsive to
the stylus and grafti input.

I don't think I've heard anyone else ever complain... But that might be
because you're the only person who wants an extra 5 oz of weight.

Palm went to plastic in the screens, IMHO, because it cut into their
bottom line to replace all the broken ones. Glass is, after all, more
fragile than plastic.

Personally, I still like the feel of the screen on the Vx my wife uses
over the feel of my m515. I've also found that I have more trouble
getting proper graffiti recognition on my m515 than I did on the Vx
before I gave it to my wife.

I've heard a few other people mention this as well. But most people
seem to like the trade-off for durability and weight.

Graffiti is more difficult to use on the plastic screens, and on my T|E
it's almost impossible to use.
