How do i remove the option to boot ubuntu?

I formatted the drive that i had installed ubuntu on (it was installed in windows, not in a separate partition). But it still gives me the option to boot into ubuntu when i start the computer. How do i remove this option?

    Open msconfig . Delete linux boot option
