Sound problem

Hello,

My Acer Laptop has a very high pitch sound

Is it coming from the speakers? If so, does the sound still happen if you unplug the machine (run it on battery)?

Does the sound come from the base of the screen? Does it still occur if you turn your screen off or change its brightness?
