Acer Aspire One Happy: LCD Backlight visible through back cover

Hi guys,
I have just recently bought an Acer Aspire One Happy in purple color. The colors are quite light on these laptops, and today I noticed in the dark, that you can actually see the backlight shining through on the back cover. Had this been done artistically this would actually be a feature, but unfortunately you can see the innards of the LCD screen. Looks like they forgot to add an opaque layer (or just assumed the cover would do).
Has anyone else had similar problems?

Functionally, no. Aesthetically, yes.
I think I will have to upload a picture to describe what I am trying to say. (Will do when i get home)
It looks really weird in the dark and you can see the wires of the webcam etc going down the screen.

Most people actually face the other side of the lid when they use their laptop.
