Windows Update: "Windows" is greyed out??

I am running Windows 98 and recently, when I went to use Windows Update, I noticed under the "Pick Updates to Install", "Windows" is greyed out. "Critical Updates and Service Packs" and "Driver Updates" are lit up and checked, however Windows is not. For some reason my computer is not checking for any updates for the actual OS. Has anyone else run into this, or know of a fix? Thanks for any advice!!!

Either u downloaded all the updates or there arent any new ones to download. or maybe m$ took them off since they arent officially supporting windows 98 anymore. IIRC
I run ME and the critical updates is greyed out because i d/l all of them.
