I'm currently using XP Pro SP1 with Audigy Platinum and have EAX, Remote Centre, and updated drivers from <A HREF="http://www.americas.creative.com/support/files/download.asp?Centric=207&nLangID=1&sDestURL=http://www.americas.creative.com/support/files/download.asp&sRef=http://www.americas.creative.com/support/welcome.asp?centric=207" target="_new">here</A> and have only expeirenced distortion in BF1942 title screens. Other than that works OK :)

Make sure you install the drivers only from creatives site and not over older versions.. preferably over a clean install of XP.
