i have athlon 1000 with soltek SL75KAV MB (via KT133A chipset), the vcore value in the bios is 1.81 and via hardware monitor in the win2k reads 1.86, so i do not know which is more accurate. however, are these results good or high? shall i drop it to something like 1.6 or 1.7? the system is not overcloced nor i am going to overclock it

for information, The cpu temp with HSF globalwin FOP38 is 37-39c idle, room temp about 20c (case opened) and 41-43c heavy load.

well if alls well, then theres no problem leaving it, however you could try lowering the voltage a bit at a time and check you are stable, lower voltage=lower temp.

I think the standard voltage of the Tbird is 1.75V, my monitor apps (MBM and VHM) show also the voltage a little higher (1.8V) and I think this is normal.
Your temps are good.

My case has so many fans that it hovers above the ground  .
