Interesting benchmark numbers

Just posting some useful benchmarks.

these were done in sisoft sandra version 2001.5.8.11

Hard drive numbers go as follows.

Note: the x's simply mean don't cares. It really doesn't matter what these numbers would be.

Standard IDE busmaster drivers: 20xxx
Via drivers installed by windows setup: 21482
Via's latest bus mastering drivers: 215xx
Same drivers after defrag: 21766

That pretty much says i was wrong about standard drivers and not using via drivers. Which by the way Via's latest drivers are pretty cool and has a nift GUI? *shrugs*

video 3dmark 2001
ATI AIW Radeon

Note: I used Rage 3d tweak v3.0 Beta4. I simply set the setting to use the 3dmark2001 profile. thats all i did.

Before tweak
default benchmark: 3033
defualt at 16bit color: 3155

After tweak
default benchmark: 3108
defualt at 16bit color: 3254

Extra 100 points just by installing this program is pretty cool.

This program has a nice overclocking utility that builds right in with ATI's set.

Overclocked 160/160 @ 180/180

default benchmark: 3386
defualt at 16bit color: 3526 (~ about. i forgot to write it down but it's somewhere in the 3500 - 3599 rang)

by the way my 1.4ghz athlon xp 1600+ cpu is running great at 42 degrees celcious
