Ssd - moving win7 users folder for Tags: SSD Command Prompt Windows 7 Hard Drives eyal20122013 February 13, 2013 10:25:46 AM Hi, I just bought an ssd and want to install windows 7 64 bit pro on it. I understand the "c:\users\AppData" folder can be big and it is reccomended to move it to hdd and thus save ssd space. I have few questions regrading it: 1. What is the job of the "c:\users\AppData" folder ? 2. Does windows use this folder often ? 3. Is it safe if I use the "mklink" command (http://superuser.com/questions/262916/how-to-move-users... another-drive-in-order-to-save-space-in) ?
