AXP 1800+ OEM and retail

how i can recoginze between the OEM and retail CPU (regardless of the packing and the other attachments like hsf), is there any viewable different between both? like color or numbers....etc.

and what is the different in the performance? at the normal setting (no overclocking)

I believe there is none although I might be wrong.

Good or Bad have no meaning at all, depends on what your point of view is.

There is no differnce in performance between OEM and retail.
The retail chip has a heatsink and fan and has a couple of years guarantee.

My case has so many fans that it hovers above the ground .
