I have a wisetech optical mouse and on Win XP pro the mouse goes wacky with the scroll wheel ie. it scrolls up and down for no reason. I also have Win2K Pro on another hard drive and the mouse does not act up. For right now, I have disabled the scroll wheel so it doesnt do it but it s anice feature to have if you use it alot. So if anyone has any ideas please tell me and it would be much appreciated.

Have you tried adjusting it in the control panel?

you wouldn't by any chance be routing it through a KVM?

You may be phuked! Sorry, couldn't resist. :p Try uninstalling the mouse and any drivers associated with it. Then reboot, plug the mouse back in and let it be detected. See if that helps.
