Hi, is it easy to damage a CPU by simply touching it, like touching the pins on the bottom or touching the core? or scratching the top of the CPU casing, but NOT the core, just on that grey surface where AMD is wrote? Just Wondering. My friend said its actually harder than you think to damage a CPU, just checking up on it.

your friend is pretty much right. the 1.4tbird that is running absolutely fine in my sis's comp used to be mine. boy i put that thing through hell...dropped it, touched it all over. the first time i ever used arctic silver i got a lil crazy, so i took it, grabbed a bucket of soapy water and an old toothbrush. submerged the cpu in the bucket and scrubbed the heck out of it. sat it in front of a fan for about 2 hours and popped it back in. good to go.
